The following terms and conditions govern the use of the Ocean Environment community forum at https://oceanenvironment.net. By accessing or using the forum, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The forum is operated by Shark Guitars, registered in the Republic of Turkey.


Important Terms

These terms include a number of important provisions that affect your rights and responsibilities, such as the disclaimers in Disclaimers, limits on Shark Guitars’ liability in Limits on Liability, and an agreement to resolve disputes in Disputes.

Your Permission to Use the Forum

Subject to these terms, Shark Guitars grants you permission to use the forum. Everyone must agree to these terms to use the forum — there are no exceptions.

Your permission to use the forum is not exclusive to you and cannot be transferred to anyone else. Others may also be granted permission to use the forum on these same terms.

Shark Guitars reserves the right to revoke your permission to use the forum at any time, with or without prior notice. This may occur if you violate these terms or for any other reason at the discretion of the site operators.

Conditions for Use of the Forum

Your permission to use the forum is subject to the following conditions:

  1. You must be at least 13 years old to use the forum.
  2. You may no longer use the forum if Shark Guitars contacts you directly to tell you that you may not.
  3. You must use the forum in accordance with Acceptable Use and Content Standards.

Acceptable Use

  1. You will not use the forum to break the law.
  2. You will not use or try to use another person’s account without their permission.
  3. You will not buy, sell, or otherwise trade in usernames or other unique identifiers on the forum.
  4. You will not send advertisements, chain letters, or other solicitations through the forum, or use the forum to gather addresses or other personal data for commercial mailing lists or databases.
  5. You will not automate access to the forum, or monitor the forum, such as with a web crawler, browser plug-in, or other computer program that is not a conventional web browser. You may crawl the forum to index it for a publicly available search engine, if you operate one.
  6. You will not use the forum to send e-mail to distribution lists, newsgroups, or group mail aliases.
  7. You will not falsely imply that you are affiliated with or endorsed by Shark Guitars.
  8. You will not remove any marks showing proprietary ownership from materials you download from the forum.
  9. You will not show any part of the forum on other websites with <iframe>.
  10. You will not disable, avoid, or circumvent any security or access restrictions of the forum.
  11. You will not strain infrastructure of the forum with an unreasonable volume of requests, or requests designed to impose an unreasonable load on information systems underlying the forum.
  12. You will not impersonate others through the forum.
  13. You will not encourage or help anyone in violation of these terms.

Content Standards

  1. You will not submit content to the forum that is illegal, offensive, or otherwise harmful to others. This includes content that is harassing, inappropriate, or abusive.
  2. You will not submit content to the forum that violates the law, infringes anyone’s intellectual property rights, violates anyone’s privacy, or breaches agreements you have with others.
  3. You will not submit content to the forum containing malicious computer code, such as computer viruses or spyware.
  4. You will not submit content to the forum as a mere placeholder to hold a particular address, username, or other unique identifier.
  5. You will not use the forum to disclose information that you do not have the right to disclose, such as confidential or personal information of others.

Enforcement

Shark Guitars may investigate and take action in response to violations of these terms and the Community Guidelines. Actions may include removing content, suspending or banning accounts, and contacting law enforcement where appropriate. Moderator decisions are final, but users may appeal through the Site Feedback category.

Your Account

You must create and log into an account to use some features of the forum.

To create an account, you must provide a valid email address. You agree to keep your account credentials confidential and not to share your login details with others. You are responsible for all activities under your account.

You agree to notify Shark Guitars immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You may not create an account for anyone other than yourself without that person’s consent.

Shark Guitars may restrict, suspend, or close your account at any time for any reason, including violations of these terms. You may close your own account at any time.

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to the forum. However, by posting content, you grant Shark Guitars a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, copy, display, and distribute that content within the forum.

You are solely responsible for all content you submit to the forum and the consequences of posting it.

Your Responsibility

You agree to reimburse Shark Guitars for any legal costs arising from your breach of these terms or any third-party claims resulting from your use of the forum.

Disclaimers

The forum is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties, express or implied. Shark Guitars does not warrant that the forum will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content on the forum is accurate, complete, or current.

Limits on Liability

Shark Guitars will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the forum, however caused and under any theory of liability. This includes damages for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Shark Guitars’ total liability is limited to the amount, if any, you have paid to use the forum.

Feedback

Shark Guitars welcomes your feedback and suggestions for improving the forum. By submitting feedback, you agree that Shark Guitars may use it freely without any obligation to you.

Termination

Either you or Shark Guitars may terminate your account and access to the forum at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the forum ceases immediately. Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

Disputes

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the forum shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Turkey for the resolution of any disputes.

General Terms

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Shark Guitars’ failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver.

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Shark Guitars regarding the forum. They supersede any prior agreements.
